Our church building owes its existence, in part, to this man's testimony.  A law clerk 29 years old makes up his mind... 'Salvation, it seemed to me, instead of being a thing to be wrought out by my own works, was a thing to be found entirely in the Lord Jesus Christ...the question seemed to be put, "Will you accept it now, today?"  I replied, "Yes; I will accept it today, or die in the attempt." '

It is Good Friday, when our Lord Jesus gave Himself up for us all... For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...  Resurrection Sunday is near.  But on Thursday, Jesus appealed to His own beloved disciples while He was still with them, "If You Love Me..."

LOVED What is man that You are mindful of him?  Psalm 8:4

"You thought you could find love, but you never came to Me."  I had always looked at life in terms of relationship, but by Spring Break, 1976, I found myself adrift... holding myself alone.

LOOK ON THE FIELDS  Part 2   We're Ready To Plant!

"There's a young army of believers who are rising to claim Christianity as their own as a young generation and a free generation." Alison Perfater, Asbury Student Body President.  

Last week, out came the disks, plows and cultivators...the fields needed 'working up' before we can successfully plant for a harvest.  This week, with well adapted soil, we're ready to plant.  Afterwards, however, its no time just to walk away, look on the fields...they still need some 'looking after'.

Jesus begins, "Give attention to this..."  So, looking around on the fields, are we seeing disks and plows working?  Do you see planters moving down freshly fertilized and cultivated rows?  Or are there combines in the field?  Like that in Wilmore, Kentucky... Wednesday, February 8, Asbury University Chapel.  A student who had been in the chapel left after an hour and went to his class, but when he got out, he heard singing.  "He said, 'Okay, that's weird,' I went back up, and it was surreal.  The peace that was in the room was unexplainable."  He and a few friends immediately left, sprinting around campus, bursting into classrooms with an announcement: "Revival is happening."
