Tuesday, August 30, 1977 I experienced what it was to be truly 'born again of the Spirit'... The following morning I bought a Bible, I had always heard about the Book of Revelations and looking up to God said, 'Father, speak to me..."

As a boy, in sixth grade at Wildrose School, in St. Charles, Illinois. I went with some friends to attend a Boy Scout meeting. Troop 25, led by Mr. Johnson, my friend Bob Johnson's father. We began each meeting by facing the Scout Master with our right hand raised, saying, "On my honor. I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight."  Our motto was: 'BE PREPARED'. 

FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST

"Blessed are you who sow beside all waters." Isaiah 32:20

Take Heed That No Man Deceive You, Part 2

"And many false prophets shall rise, and deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold." Matthew 24:11-12

"TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU"

And JESUS answered and said unto them, "TAKE HEED that NO MAN DECEIVE YOU. For MANY SHALL COME IN MY NAME, saying, I AM CHRIST" (literally: I AM SPECIALLY ANOINTED) "and SHALL DECEIVE MANY."  Matthew 24:5-6

 

THE LOVE OF GOD COMPELS US

"Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even to the end of the world." Matthew 28:20 

THE HIGHWAY OF HOLINESS

A highway shall be there, and a road... Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. ...But the redeemed shall walk there... And come to Zion with singing. Isaiah 35

A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM

"Whom will He teach knowledge? And whom will He make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little." Isaiah 28:9-10

Her doctor said, "I have done all I can for you. Your heart is so weakened by tuberculosis it can fail at any time."  Oma Ellis was 24, and mother of two young children. "Are you saying that I'm not going to make it?" she asked. "No, you're not going to make it. ... 'set your house in order' as the Good Book says," He replied. ... She wrote, 'After the doctor left, I hugged my two young children to my breast.' ..."Oh, God, I don't want to die." ...
